The Austin Galano Club is encouraging members to wear face masks while inside the building, following the guidance of local and national public health authorities.
Austin and Travis County moved into Stage 4 of Austin Public Health’s risk-based guidelines as COVID 19 cases and hospitalizations continue to rise. With the delta variant accelerating around the U.S., the federal government updated its masking guidelines for fully vaccinated people.
At this stage, all residents—including those who are vaccinated—are encouraged to wear masks while indoors and unvaccinated individuals are asked to avoid nonessential trips.
The Galano Club will remain open for meetings. Individual fellowships are asked to help encourage mask use within their meetings. Masks are available at the coffee bar, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the club, and be mindful of others by maintaining space between chairs.
We truly appreciate your continued cooperation as we adapt to changing guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns, we invite you to contact the AGC board members directly at: email@example.com or attend our next hybrid board meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 17, at 6 p.m. in the Medium Room. You can request the meeting link at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To promote a healthy community, we encourage open communication with the board as noted above. Let’s work together!
