Lambda Live and Let Live
Lambda Live and Let Live (Lambda L&LL) provides regularly scheduled in-person meetings and maintains the Hybrid (Zoom) Saturday speaker meeting (join here). Please refer to the meeting schedule below for more information.
Since 1976, the primary purpose of the fellowship of the Lambda L&LL group has been to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. We describe our group as LGBTQ+ affirming because a large portion of our membership comes from the LGBTQ+ community. However, all are welcome, and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
In accordance with the 6th tradition, the Lambda L&LL group of A.A. is not affiliated with the Austin Galano Club.
The Austin Galano Club allows service animals on the property who are welcome to all areas of the club where guests are allowed. Please note that emotional support animals and pets do not qualify as service animals. Our goal is to ensure a safe, comfortable, and accommodating environment for all our guests, including those with disabilities who rely on the assistance of service animals.

Remember that in our fellowship anonymity is the spiritual principle of all our affairs. During Zoom meetings please protect our anonymity by refraining from screenshots and recordings, and ensure you’re in a secure environment where people can share without being heard outside the meeting.
